Only through the sharing of information can we build a protective network to fight fraud and crimes against consumers. Here are some of the things you can do with Scam Shield:

  1. EDUCATE YOURSELF - Browse through our feature articles, search our fraud database, or research other resources available on Scam Shield. Find out where to go to get refunds, find out if you can join a class-action lawsuit, or find out just where you can go to make a complaint.

  2. REGISTER FOR SCAM ALERT - Register for Scam Shield's powerful Scam Alert service. It's easy and free to register. The service will notify you of any new frauds and scams via e-mail and will let you know where occurences have been reported.

  3. REPORT YOUR EXPERIENCES - Report your experiences if you have been a victim or know a victim of consumer fraud. Try to share as many details as possible. Also, report violations to the local authorities.

  4. VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME - Volunteer to help protect your community. Become a ScamShield "deputy" to join a fast growing grass-roots effort to make it hard for the bad guys to victimize your community.
